The Himalayas are the youngest and the highest mountain ranges in the world which run along the northern border of the Indian subcontinent. The Himalayas are formed through three parallel mountain ranges- The Himadri or the Great or Inner Himalayas, Himachal or the lesser Himalayas and the Shiwaliks.
