the northern plains of India is one of the physiographical divisions of india. it is formod by the deposition of alluvial soil by ganga , indus and brahamputra river .it's area is 1.5 lakh km^2. this is one of the most fertile region of india . it has a suitable climate and water availability due to which large number of industriare are set up. It is also the region with highest population density.
