The different types of vegetations found in India are:
(i) Tropical Rain Forests/Tropical Evergreen Forests: These forests grow in the areas of 200 cm and above rainfall. The trees shed their leaves at different time periods of the year.
(ii) Tropical Deciduous Forests: These forests grow in the areas receiving rainfall between 200 cm and 70 cm. The trees shed their leaves for about six to eight weeks in dry summer.
