Example:-

Hydrochloric acid, HCl, with sodium hydroxide, NaOH, solutions produces a solution of sodium chloride, NaCl, and some additional water molecules.

These reactions can be of 3 types:-

a. Acidic- In which acid is strong and base is weak.

b. Basic- In which base is stronger than acid.

c. Neutral- In this, everything is neutralised because of being equal.
