Hey There, Time for some experiment! ;)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aim :

To prove the law of conservation of mass in the case of physical change.

Prerequisite Knowledge :

♦ Water has 3 states of matter namely : Ice, Liquid & Vapour
♦ The transformation between these states are physical & reversible changes.

Procedure :

Take a beaker filled with ice.
♦ Weigh the beaker
& note the
weight of ice.
♦ Heat the beaker slowly.
When the ice gets completely converted to liquid water, stop heating.
♦ Now, weigh the beaker with water & record the weight.

Observation :

You will observe that the weight of beaker with ice = weight of beaker with water.

Hence, the law of conservation of mass is proved.
