Take two pots in which two plants are planted separately...
Keep the one of the pot in a dark room where sunlight cannot reach for about 3 days and keep the other pot in the normal place where sunlight reaches... After three days u will observe that the plant which is kept in sunlight fades I.e it will not be healthy one as the plant which is kept in sunlight.
This shows that sunlight is necessary for a plant to make its food...
