Give an alternative ending to the story journey by night (brave sher shing story)

As sher singh tried crossing the flooded river...his brother who is on his back gets pulled away by the strong currents and goes awy with the river...and Sher singh tries to catch him but he falls into the river and becomes unconscious ...then he is washed up on the shore...He walks back home and tells his Mother about this, she starts crying...and Sher singh closes his eyes...and never opens it again.
