Give an evidence to prove that birds have evolved from reptiles

Birds have evolved from reptiles and the fossil of archaepteryx is an evidence to it. Its characters resemble both to birds and reptiles specifically dinosaurs. Bird like character includes presence of well developed flight feathers that have veins in them and also the first toe also resembles the birds. Reptile like characters include presence of teeth, presence of claws on three toes, nasal openings are located forward in the skull which is absent in birds and the presence of tail.
