An evidence to show that Helium is a stable element is that only a handful of compounds are present on the Earth which are composed of Helium(He) as their atoms of elementary composition.

This means that Helium does not react actively with the elements present in the nature. Thus, is termed as Stable.

They are helium,argon,krypton,xenon and radon.
