Give an example in which the area doesn't increase when the perimeter increases in rectangle.

let area be 12unit square

so, its sides can be -

3 and 4

  OR

2 and 6

perimeter of first case

=14units

perimeter of second case

=16units

1. A rectangle whose length and breadth are 6 units and 4 units respectively, when the length is increased by 2 units and the breadth decreased by 1 unit.

After, the length becomes 8 units and the breadth becomes 3 units. Here, the perimeter increases by 2 units but the area doesn't change.
