If zinc chloride is heated with conc.H2SO4, zinc sulphate and HCl will be formed:
ZnCl2 + H2SO4 --->ZnSO4 + 2HCl.

Activity Take a conical flask and put few zinc granules in it .Add a small amount of dil.sulphuric or hydrochloric acid to it. The size of zinc granules become smaller and hydrogen gas is evolved .The temp. of the conical flask is also slightly higher  .

chemical equation     Zn + HCl = ZnCl2 + H2
