Potassium permagnet is a purple coloured crystals and when we put these crystals in water...we get purple colured solution..

On adding Citric acid ( Citric acid found in Lemon or citrus fruits ) to the solution , it turns the solution colourless...

So the Chemical reaction between the potassium permagnet and citric acid is cjaracterised by change in colour...
