When a flower converts into a fruit, it is an 'example of chemotropism'.
Explanation:
When an organism such as bacteria, fungi and plants grows, because of the chemical stimulus from the outside of organism’s body , it is known as Chemotropism.
If the growth is towards the stimulus, it is known as ‘positive’ and ’negative’ if the growth is away from the stimulus. Another example of chemotropism can be growth of roots due the minerals present in the soil.
