- Bacterial herbicide
- Insect herbicide
- Fungal herbicide or Mycoherbicide make use of certain fungi to help control and evict certain plants. These are highly common as cheap and feasible methods. Ex: Alternaria
- Bacterial herbicide is also used to control vegetation on a smaller scale like weeds and small saplings. They are not very common as they need lab culture and is slightly more expensive. Ex: Xanthomonas
- Insect herbicide or using insects to control growth of certain weeds, plants etc using insect toxins is another common method. Ex: Cactoblastis.
