Projectile motion

{\huge{\boxed{\mathcal{\red{Explanation}}}}}

The motion in which motion is in two dimension but acceleration in one dimension is called projectile motion. That is motion of a body that is projected.

Proving by example :-

Suppose a cricketer hits a ball , now this ball moves in a plane which contains both height and

direction means we can say it have both X-Men axis and y-axis (you can see attachment) .

This means ball is moving in a two - dimensional plane. Now what about acceleration?. We know source of acceleration on earth for a general body is earth's gravity that is gravity due to acceleration. Now we know that when a person is walking on a road which is horizontal, they do not get accelerated like (BEN 10 ACCELERATE) buy they walk on their own, by this we can conclude that there is no accelerating or Retardating force on horizontal. Now in the same case the person can walk on road because their feet is in contact with road everytime. And this is because of acceleration due gravity which attracts our body only vertically.

Thus we can conclude that projectile motion is an example of motion in two plane, but acceleration in one plane..
