Hi there,

______________________

speed is a scalar(independent of direction)

velocity is a vector => change in direction brings about change in velocity even though the magnitude of velocity is constant..

and also magnitude of velocity is always ≤ value of speed

(bcause velocity involves displacement unlike speed where always distance can b more)

so... whenever the direction vector of a body changes with constant velocity magnitude...

its velocity is said to b changing.... same case with momentum...

best example for a body with constant speed but a variable velocity is a body in circular motion.... because the direction vector of velocity is constantly changing not invoking any change in the magnitude of velocity...

cheers :)

Answer:

a car moving in a circular motion

Explanation:

a body moving in a circular motion changes its starting and ending point by time but countinuously covers a distance

(velocity depends on the discpalcement )

ananya1108: thanks
pranshmishra3: no prob
