In the given image, a body is moving on the periphery of a circle. It has a constant speed v, but since it is constantly changing its direction, its velocity is different at each point of the periphery of the circle.
In the figure: vector a denotes the acceleration vector.
vector v denotes the velocity vector.
ω denotes the angular velocity.
