prevention is better than cure as if a person is suffering from cancer then if he survives because he is cured then some major parts are being damaged and if the person is prevented from cancer no major parts Will be damaged

It is truely said that " Prevention is better than cure " .

If we look in our real life, preventing ourselves from fake sites and posting controversial messages is better than seeing the further consequences and going to the court of law.

Anyways, the question is asked from the subject of Biology.

If we look through the view of biology, improving our immunity by taking Vaccines is better than taking medicines after the disease.
Or we can prevent ourselves from getting cold by wearing sweaters and keeping ourselves warm. This way we could prevent ourselves from diseases.

Moreover, prevention causes less amount of money than cure. " An apple, a day keeps the doctor away" . Now the choice is yours- 100 Rupees apple or 1000 rupees medicines.

So, Prevention is always better than cure.
