• Social imbalance :
To construct large dams for the multipurpose project we have to transfer the human locality of the construction site to somewhere else which causes a great social imbalance.
• Economic imbalance :
The initial cost for making large dams for is very high which causes a great economic imbalance.
• Environmental imbalance :
When we obstruct the flow of the river by constructing dams,the natural ecosystem of the river and it's surrounding's ecosystems loose their natural balance and a major environmental imbalance takes place.
