Here's one example.
when an object is thrown vertically upwards, at the maximum height the velocity of the object is 0 m/s but at the same time, it's being accelerated with the gravitational acceleration by 9.8m/s²

a ball thrown upwards has acceleration (g) but at the highest point its velocity is 0.
