Evolution is the process by which newer types of organisms are developed from the pre existing ones through modifications. As we have read in the previous classes we know that the organisms that first came on earth were the unicellular prokaryotes and belonged to the kingdom Monera. Next unicellular eukaryotes evolved and were classified as Protista. Then multicellular organisms evolved from these which were saprotrophs or Fungi, autographs or Plantae and heterotrophs or Animilia.
We can also understand this by the Miller and Urey experiment where thay created a setup having the conditions which were on earth before the coming up of unicellular prokaryotes .
From this we can get an idea about evolution.
I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU!!!
