Strategy of development adopted by India and Pakistan after independence (outline).

Explanation:

Before independence, India and Pakistan were one single country. But after the independence, both countries adopted strategy that stay focused towards economic developments. The economic system followed by each can be considered as a mix bag.

 Both India and Pakistan followed development within the private and public sectors. Focused on developing and improving the economy of their respective country. They initiated proper economic planning.

 The economic development was mainly done in and around the private and public sector units. Both countries want the co-existence of each sector alongside the other.

 With an aim to initiate the growth and development within the nation, India and Pakistan depended more on the development in the public sector. More funds was introduced by the governments within the developments in the public sector units.

 The reforms were implemented by Pakistan in early 1988 but India had managed to implement its reforms only till 1991. The reforms aimed mainly on strengthening the economy of the nations.

 Later on Both India and Pakistan made an announcement of implementing five year plan to help promote and boost the country’s economic status.

But you have to keep in mind that in present time, the conditions for economic growth and development in India and Pakistan are not the same. Indian has managed to emerge as the global leader in many fields, but Pakistan is still fallen way behind in terms of development and growth.
