A train covered a distance at uniform speed. If the train is 10km/h faster, it would take 2 hours less than the scheduled time. And if the train is 10km/h slower, it would take 3 more hours. What distance is the train covering?
Let distance be = X

let speed = Y

(X/Y) is the normal time taken

Now if speed is 10 km more

(X/Y+10) is the new time taken

(X/Y+10) - (X/Y) = 2

Now if speed is 10 km less

(X/Y) - (X/Y-10) = 3

Calculating we get

Y = 50 Km/Hr

Substituting for Y=50 we get

X = 600 KM

So distance is 600 Kms

Speed is 50 Kmph
