Since the two sides are equal therefore it is a isosceles triangle
x = 50° ( Angle opp. to equal sides of a ∆ / isosceles triangle)
Now,
50° + x + y = 180° ( Angle sum Property )
50° + 50° + y = 180°
100° + y = 180°
y = 180° - 100°
y = 80°
