16. Given that

x = 2 + √3

1/x = 1/2 + √3

= 1 × (2 - √3)/(2 + √3) (2 - √3)

= (2 - √3)/(2^2 - √3^2)

= (2 - √3)/4 - 3

= (2 - √3)

Therefore ,

x^2 = (2 + √3)

= (2)^2 + (√3)^2 + 2 × 2 × √3

= 4 + 3 + 4√3

= 7 + 4√3

1/x^2 = (2 - √3)^2

= (2)^2 + (√3)^2 - 2 × 2 × √3

= 4 + 3 - 4√3

= 7 - 4√3

x^2 + 1/x^2

= (7 + 4√3) + (7 - 4√3)

= 7 + 4√3 + 7 - 4√3

= 7 + 7 + 4√3 - 4√3

= 14

17. x^4+4

=(x^2)^2 +(2)^2

=(x^2+2)^2

=(x^2+2) (x^2 +2)

18.. Volume of sphere = 4/3 π R*(3)

Here R = 2r

Volume of sphere = 4/3 π (2r)*3

Volume =( 4/3 )8π r*(3)

Volume of sphere = 32/3 π r*3

OR

Volume of cuboid=444cm3

Area of base =lb=88cm2

Height=??

Volume of cuboid=lbh

440=88h

h=5cm

19. The angle sum of a quadrilateral is (4-2)x 180=360

The sum of all the angles of the quadrilateral =95 +70+110+80=355

Since the angle sum is not equal to 360degree. therefore they cannot be the angles of a quadrilateral.

20. The equation intersect s axis so y coordinate will be 0

so x = ?

y =0

2x +3y = 6

2x +3*0 = 6

2x = 6

x =3

coordinate is (3,0)

PLEASE MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST DUDE. IT TOOK ME HELLA LOT OF TIME TO WRITE THESE ANSWERS..... HOPE MY ANSWERS HELP YOU OUT
