(ii)while we move slowly from left to right the electron which was filled at last will enter the penultimate d subshell.

(iii)the one more thing which happens when we move slowly from left to right is the nuclear charge increase by 1.

(iv)so,the result is the atomic number and nuclear charge increases.

(v)therefore,the atomic radii slowly decrease as we move left to right on the transition series.
