the frog repeatedly torcgured the nightingale forcing her to blindly copy him. as a result the audiences started loosing their interest in the nightingale,s song. the nightingale had to sing day and night but almost alone wid very few or no audience as she was then habituated with huge applauded. this led to the downfall of the nightingale.
the narrator refers to the two boys of Verona as gentlemen not because they were born gentlemen but because they exhibhit the qualities of gentlemen. the narrator noticed their innocent and childish nature they being teens had enough seriousness which was not expected from boys of other age. they also did show gentlemen qualities in the story which made the narrator reffer them as gentlemen
