2)Their cleansing capacity is poor.
3) These are not suitable for cleansing in hard water.
4) Vegetable oils or animal fat is used for their preparation.
5) They are biodegradable. Their use does not cause water pollution.
Detergents--------

2)Their cleansing capacity is good.
3) These produce froth even with hard water and lower the surface tension of water.
4)These are made from coal and petroleum products.
5)Detergents are non-biodegradable, so they do not cause water pollution.
