The key words here are “even” and “prime”. The following are just first several examples:

4=2+2, 6=3+3, 8=3+5, 10=3+7, 12=5+7, 14=7+7, 16=5+11, 18=7+11, 20=7+13, 22=11+11, …


As you can see, both addends on the right side of each equation are prime numbers. The challenge is to prove that it can be applied to all even numbers greater than 2. As of today, 2017–02–15, this conjecture remains unsolved.
