The four characteristics of Alluvial soil are as follows:-

1. Alluvial soil are most fertile soil.

2.These soils are found mainly in Northern plain.

3. Crop like rice and wheat can be grown in this soil.

4. According to age also alluvial soil can be classified known as Bhangar and Khadar.

5. Bhangar is old in age and khadar is new in age.

6.Bhangar contain more Kankar nodules which is less fertile and Khadar contain less kankar nodules more fertile as compared to bhangar.
