Answer:

1. The sun is never overhead beyond the tropics due to the latitudes. The sun's rays always fall directly on 0° latitude which is known as the equator. The sun rays can be experienced overhead till the tropic of cancer and capricorn in the northern and southern hemispheres of the earth respectively

2. Winds get deflected from their normal path because the Earth rotates on its axis, circulating air is deflected toward the right in the Northern Hemisphere and toward the left in the Southern Hemisphere. This deflection is called the Coriolis effect. Coastal currents are affected by local winds.

3. Earth's spin is constant, but the speed depends on what latitude you are located at. Here's an example. The circumference (the distance around the largest part of the Earth) is roughly 24,898 miles (40,070 kilometres), according to NASA. (This area is also called the equator.)

Thus, the surface of the earth at the equator moves at a speed of 460 meters per second--or roughly 1,000 miles per hour.

4. If a person moves towards the east, then he will get extra time because the sun rises from the east, if he towards there where the sun is rising then he will get day and day more. When the person reaches the zenith and sets moving towards the sun

Answer:

1. Because the “tropics” are defined as those parallels beyond which the Sun never appears overhead. They are found at 23½° away from the equator because the Earth is tilted 23½° from vertical, with respect to the plane of its orbit.

2. Because the Earth rotates on its axis, circulating air is deflected toward the right in the Northern Hemisphere and toward the left in the Southern Hemisphere. This deflection is called the Coriolis effect.

3. Distance of the earth from sun varies as it revolves in an elliptical orbit. As the distance changes gravitational pull of the sun on the earth also changes . That's why the speed of earth's revolution varies.

4. If a person moves towards the east, then he will get extra time because the sun rises from the east, if he towards there where the sun is rising then he will get day and day more. When the person reaches the zenith and sets moving towards the sun.
