Hi, my friend.
Here is your answer.
Covalent bonds are the bonds which are formed by sharing pairing of unpaired electrons but Ionic bonds are bonds which are formed by complete transfer of electrons.
Covalent bonds are liquid and gaseous at room temperature but ionic binds are solid at room temperature.
Covalent bonds have low polarity but ionic bonds have high polarity.
Covalent bonds are formed by non-metals but ionic bonds are formed by metals and non-metals.
Covalent bonds have definite shape but ionic bonds have no definite shape.
Covalent bonds have low melting point and boiling point but ionic bond have high melting point and boiling point.
Example- Covalent bonds are Methane, Hydrochloric acid. Ionic bonds are Sodium chloride and sulphuric acid.
Hope it will help you my friend!!!!!!!!!
