[1]Cricket became very popular in Caribbean island as success in cricket became a measure of racial equality and political progress. [2] At the time of their independence many of the political leaders of Caribbean countries like Forbes, Burnham and Enc Williams saw in the game a chance for self- respect and international standing. [3] Cricket was accepted by rich and upper class as well as poor class. I think these factors willl be good. :)
