The features of advancing monsoon S Jason of India are as follows:- the importance of the season is that over 90% of the total annual rainfall in India is received during this months this season begins in June and continues till the end of September by the end of May the heat becomes very strong in the Northwest India and forms a distinct low pressure zone over this region since the high pressure areas exist over the seas which are relatively cooler wins from These areas start moving towards the Northwest part where low pressure is found.
this winds carry a lot of moisture with them as they hit against the mountains and hills they cause heavy rainfall over Northern India since this winds and the India from the Southwest they are called south West Monsoon or advancing monsoon.
