  • The ability of locomotion. Animals can easily move from one point to another while plants are fixed at a point.
  • Animals are mostly heterotrophs unlike plants which are mostly autotrophs as they have chlorophyll which help them to make their own food.
  • Animal cells each have a centrosome and lysosomes, whereas plant cells do not. Plant cells have a cell wall, chloroplasts and other specialized plastids, and a large central vacuole, whereas animal cells do not.
