1. Mirage

Its the appearance of a distant object or objects caused by the bending of light rays (refraction) in layers of air of varying density. See in the picture.

2. Camera

In camera lens refracts light and projects an opposite image. The same thing also happens in our eyes.

3. Seeing a fish under water  

When we see a fish angularly under water then light gets refracted by water. As a result we see the fish but that is not exactly on that position where we see it.
