Give any two reasons to support hydrochloric acid is compound and not a element.

1)Hydrochloric acid contains 1 Hydrogen and 1 Chlorine =HCL= 1 + 35.5= 36/5u
2)As we know that, A compound is a molecule made of atoms from different elements.
