Plastics as you know are non biodegradable and take about millions of years to decompose.
Scientists aren’t sure but plastics contains chemicals, many of which are toxic and disrupt hormones, to protect the environment is the duty of every single inhabitant on earth. Plastics are of two types, thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics. Thermosetting plastics can be remolded many times but thermoplastics can be molded only once. The plastic when thrown in marine life is consumed by aquatic animals which leads to their death, which decreases the oxygen level in the water leading to the death of other fishes, when the fishes decompose, they come at the surface of the water leading to algal growth and excess algal growth leads to algal bloom. On land, the plastic rubbers can choke the small children, anyone can be strangled to death by these plastics.
