1. The sudden eruption of the Taal volcano on 12 January caused heavy ashfall all over the neighborhood. Over 900k people were affected and lifestyles were disrupted.
2. The lockdown in mid-march due to the pandemic COVID-19. a total shutdown did a great loss to lives and the whole system of work and development.
3. An earthquake of 6.6 magnitude hits the Bicol region in august. It destroyed 1.3k people's land and houses.
4. From October to November, 20 tropical cyclones entered the Philipines and caused floods and landslides in some areas.
5. Food shortage and transportation issues caused due to the pandemic and floods led to a crisis.
