1. Estimating Man Power Requirements

Before starting the work the manpower requirements of the organization is assessed.

Staffing process begins with estimation of man power requirements which means finding out number and type of employees needed by the organization in future.

2.Recruitment :

Recruitment is a process of searching and motivating a large number of prospective employees for a particular job in an organization.

3. Selection :

Under the process of selection, better applicants are selected out of a large number of them.It must be keep in mind that the ability of the applicant and the nature of work must watch.It means that right man should be selected for the right job.

4. Placement and Orientation:

Place me involves putting the selected man at the right place considering his aptitude and ability.

Orientation, known as induction, means introducing the newly selected employee i.e. to various facets of the company his job, other jobs , nature of products , policies, rules and existing employees etc.
