Dear Mom and Dad,
I am writing this letter for thanking you for giving me the best birthday gift ever in my life. I want to know how you guys planned such a surprise without my knowledge. That's absolutely fantastic. I still have Buddy with me. I named him 'Buddy', by the way. This nice right?
Two days before my birthday, I noticed you guys discussing something. I didn't care much. I just walked on. Then, you were acting really strange. Mom, you said that you want to go shopping that day. I remembered we have gone three days back. We had all the necessary items, then why are you going for shopping at the first place. I saw your face becoming guilty and said some excuse and walked away. That was really queer. After you came back, I saw a big basket which was been covered. I tried looking it but you forbidden me not to. I thought the very moment "What's wrong with Mom?". Till the day on my birthday you told me not to enter the bedroom in case I just go and take a look what's in the basket. That made me a little bit sad. Next day was my birthday but I didn't understand why you were like this. I got up and walked outside my room. When I opened the door, I saw the basket. I thought "This is my very chance to look what in the world was inside that basket that made my parents so guilty and strange." I removed the cloth. I was stuck with suprise. What a cute little puppy with really smooth and soft looking fur! He eyes was green. I really forgot where I was. You can't imagine how that made me felt. I have got no words to describe it. Then the lights went on, you were there, chuckling at me. So this was your game? Trying to hide a cute little puppy from me as a birthday gift. No wonder you guys were acting really strange. I remember you saying "We knew how to love puppys. You love them so much and in the same way it loves you. I knew I want to have one and longing for at least three years for it. So for your birthday, you got one. Are you happy?". Happy? Was I happy? I was far more feeling like crying than being happy. You know how I ran ad hugged to tight.
I still want to know how to managed to quieten such a puppy when I'm around the house. I'm really puzzled. How's my brother and grandmother? Are they alright? I'm waiting for your replying letter.
