Hari Singh wasn't bad as it is seen at the end that he feels bad and was guilty for what he did and returns back to Anil and keeps the money back. He was interested in studies as he thought that learning will take him to the top. He was forcing himself to be a thef and to rob others .maybe because of some reasons he started robbing . He didn't have any place to live or anyone to live with .
