Maqbool was the gardener in Mughal Empire.

  • Maqbool was a gardener in the nurseries of Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. His significant other passed some time in the past and his children were in the Emperor's military and were away with their families in the Deccan.
  • From that point onwards roses were his family. He was totally committed to tending the nursery and cared for it like his own child. Furthermore named each rose like Badal, Dilruba and so forth.
  • It was due to his honesty and dedication that he was presented the rose gardens of the Qila for his entire life by Princess Jahanara when he was told to leave for  Sikandra.
