Answer: Santosh Yadav was born as the sixth child in a family of 5 sons. Santosh was always not content with her place in the traditional ways of life. Where other girls used to wear traditional dresses, Santosh preferred shorts. Santosh's parents were affluent landowners and could afford to send their children to the capital to study, but Santosh was sent to a local village school. Santosh was much interested in studying, and she left home at the age of 16 and got herself enrolled in a school in Delhi ,
