Aim : To identify ammonia .
Materials :
- beaker containing HCl .
- a glass rod .
Procedure.
- Dip the glass rod in HCl .
- Bring the glass rod near ammonia.
Observation :
- If you see that the glass rod shows dense white fumes , then it is ammonia .
- This way we can test the ammonia.
Conclusion
Thus we learnt the test for ammonia.
