There are two classification of minerals.

They are as follows Major Minerals & Trace Minerals.

The major minerals include sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and sulphur.

The trace minerals include iron, zinc, iodine, copper, manganese, fluoride, selenium, chromium and molybdenum.  These minerals are needed for good health in our body.
