B. what must be the potential difference across individual appliances?

a.In parallel

b. The potential difference is same.

c .No,the current will not same through each appliances.because this is only possible in case of series in which current is same but potential difference is different.

d.Because ,in parallel circuit if any appliances stopped due to some defects than others appliances worked normally.And in series this is not possible.

e.No.Because our homes also in parallel ,so therefore if the Tv stops working then the other appliances worked normally.
