Hello friend!

A circle is simply a 2-dimensional figure. It is a figure or a closed curve which can be obtained by joining all the points in a plane in such a way that their distance from a fixed point always remains constant.

Some interesting facts about circles:----

1.) The perimeter of the circle is called the circumference.

2.) The fixed point is known as the centre of the circle.

3.) The fixed distance is called the radius.

4.) The line segment joining any two points on the circumference of the circle, is called chord.

5.) A chord which passes through the centre of the circle is called its diameter. It is the largest chord of any circle.

6.) Radius is always half of the diameter.

Hope it helps!
