boyles law was discoverd by robert boyle
in this gas law temperature is constant
P1V1=P2V2
this law states "the volume of given mass of a gas varies in versely with absolute pressure when remperatue is kept constant"
pv=k
p1v1=p2v2=p3v3=.......=pnvn

Heya.....!!

Sir Robert Boyle ( 1662) studied the Relationship between the volume of a fixed mass of an enclosed gas at Contant temperature by increasing or decreasing pressure. He found that on Increasing pressure the Volume of gas Decreases and Vice versa .

This behaviour was generalized and named as Boyle's Law .

Mathematically We can say »»

Let V be the volume of an enclosed dry gas and P is it's pressure , such that Temprature is constant
so,

PV= K ( K is constant of propotionality )

then According to Boyle's Law

P1V1 = K
P2V2= K

P1V1 = P2V2.

the above relation is Boyle's Law Equation .
