Asis is generally considered to be as the land of rivers.

Yana ,Indigrika and the  kolyma ar the two rivers which flows directly into the arctic ocean.

Anadyr,Amur are the rivers which flows directly into the pacific ocean.

The northern rivers which flows to the Arctic ocean are the rivers which are antacedent and also perennial .They comes from the melting of snow from the himalaya mountains.

The rivers which flow into the arctic ocean in Asia are the Ob river, the yenisei river and the Lena river.

While the rivers draining into the pacific ocean are the Anadyr, Amur, Huang He and Yangtze.

Most of the rivers which flow into the Arctic ocean freeze over in the winter months, and can be used as transport route for sleighs during that time, and for boats in the summer.

Whereas the water of the rivers draining into the pacific do not freeze over and are used for irrigation purposes.
